My job is to advance the green transition in Turku region by assisting sustainable industrial investments to locate into the area. Projects that are related to bio- and circular economy together with investments to clean energy are in our focus. The work is part of the EU Green Deal strategy and continuation of the work to create new job opportunities and encourage sustainable growth into the region, which started at Green Industry Park Oy in 2021.

My background includes Master of Science (Technology) degree @Helsinki, Finland, project management professional exam @UNB Canada and leadership courses at IMD. I have done most of my career in Forest Industry at UPM, where I have been working as General Manager for sites in Scotland, Canada and Finland over 20-year period. I have dual citizenship (Finnish and Canadian). Before joining Turku Science Park summer 2023 I worked as Business Development Manager at Green Industry Park Oy for 2 years.
