You will learn about the ways of working in the creative industries, how to turn your skills into a product or service and tools to market and sell it. You will also get vital information on licensing, insurance, copyright and the logic of earning in the creative industries. You will also have access to visits to creative businesses and hear the experiences of professionals working in the creative industries.

During the training, each person will be given a personalised pathway to either finding a job or starting their own business. The content and workload of the coaching is equivalent to approximately 5 credits. If you are a student, you should ask your institution about the possibility of making the training part of your studies. The coaching is free of charge.

Coaching sessions are always held on Thursdays (3h/session) at SparkUp as follows:

• The first group will work in the afternoons from 13:00 to 16:00 (11.1.-25.4.2024) The language of the first coaching session will be Finnish (participants will be supported in English if necessary)
• The second group will work in the evenings from 16.30 to 19.30 (29.2.-6.6.2024). The second coaching session will be held in Finnish and English if necessary.
