Welcome to Turku ChipTech meeting on 9.10. at Business Turku office (Tykistökatu 4B)
The Turku Chip Tech network, launched in January 2025, is a network focused on collaboration and discussion forum for companies, universities, and stakeholders in our region. Technology domain of the network is chips technology, including integrated circuits, related software development, semiconductors & related materials and production methods etc.
We are pleased to host two distinguished guests this time as we will introduce Jani Kivioja, Director of Technology at Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering solutions. Jani will present opportunities for collaboration with Applied Materials and introduce the ChipZero flagship initiative, which aims to accelerate sustainable semiconductor manufacturing and foster partnerships across the industry.
Arco Architecture Company, represented by Piia Viitanen, will introduce their expertise in designing state-of-the-art cleanroom facilities for advanced research environments. Their work supports the growth of Finland’s semiconductor and microelectronics ecosystem by enabling cutting-edge innovation in highly controlled conditions.
We will also have five slots for companies/researchers/research to business(R2B) teams to introduce their projects/companies.
