BusinessUp is an intensive program that offers the mentorship, education, and networking necessary to jump-start growth.
Continuing the legacy of the much-appreciated startup hub SparkUp, Business Turku will host this year’s BusinessUp on its premises in Kupittaa (arrival instructions).
The program is open to startup companies, teams, and applicants with a viable business idea. You will get the best mentors, training, and guidance to start and grow your business. Please note, that the program is held in English.
- Systematic coaching to build your business idea further
- Coaches’ and mentors’ support, plus peer support and new networks
- Possibility to make international contacts, find new connections and recruit talents to your team
- Group Meetings mostly twice a week from 4.30 PM to 6.30 PM. Few longer sessions are included.
- Market analysis to know your customers and competitors
- Lean Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas to crystallize your idea
- Financial calculations to verify your business plan
- Elevator Pitches to convince customers, partners, and/or investors
- The application deadline is August 21st. The applications are evaluated by BusinessUp experts, and the winning teams will be announced by mid-September.
- The BusinessUp kick-off is on 23rd September.
- Demo Day, where the participants pitch in front of the investor juries, is on 29th November.
