Business Turku (Turku Science Park Ltd.) is a non-profit development company for the entire Turku subregion that works in close cooperation with local, national and international actors in the fields of business and economic development. The municipalities of the Turku region purchase services from our company through their own Turku Region Development Ltd.

Our turnover in 2020 was 7.1 million euros. The graph depicts the distribution of different sources of funding in 2019. The municipalities of the Turku region purchase services from our company through their own Turun Seudun Kehitys Ltd.

Turnover of Turku Science Park Ltd. in 2021: 55 % funding from the City of Turku, 19 % funding from municipalities of Turku region, 13 % project funding from EU, 8 % project funding from the Council of Southwest Finland, 5 % other public funding and 2 % sales. The company’s biggest owner is the City of Turku, 87 %. Other shareholders have 13 %.
