CrisolteQ is on its way to becoming a major industrial operator in the Finnish circular economy. Large industrial side streams can be used to recover metals such as nickel, chromium, and iron, which can then be recycled and reused as new materials in high‑technology applications. CrisolteQ is part of Fortum.

Founded in 2012, Montinutra is a biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, and commercializing novel therapeutic concepts across multiple disease areas by leveraging its own and its partners’ technology platforms. Montinutra applies a new drug development strategy and emphasizes the power of collaboration between pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, academia, individual researchers, and investors.
The company makes extensive use of bioactive molecules. Research results from universities and research institutes are transformed into projects and new business, ultimately leading to pharmaceutical products as well as bioeconomy‑based active molecules and natural products. Currently, Montinutra is developing a new US‑ and EPO‑patented compound for the treatment of addiction disorders, such as alcoholism. In addition, the company is developing another compound—a patented spruce extract—used for the treatment and prevention of lower urinary tract conditions.
Montinutra was established as an enabling development company. It operates virtually and in a highly agile manner, sourcing its innovations primarily from the Finnish academic community and Finnish research institutes. This approach avoids investments in in‑house laboratories or large personnel structures. A lean organization enables rapid management decisions, while relationships with both investors and buyers are built on incentive‑based models and collaborative partnerships.

SolRos Oy is a Finnish company specializing in the manufacturing of natural cosmetics. The company’s business concept is rooted in a strong commitment to naturalness and genuine raw materials, as well as in combining tradition with innovation. Founded in 2010, Nanol® Technologies Oy develops and manufactures nanotechnology-based lubricant additives. The name Nanol® reflects a breakthrough in lubrication technology: the creation of a nano‑thin film on friction surfaces to reduce friction and wear.
The company’s mission is to provide solutions that reduce oil and fuel consumption and extend the service life of the most critical components in engines and machinery. Its innovative, patented lubricant additive forms a protective, self-healing nano‑thin film exclusively on friction surfaces.
All products are based on an innovative technology platform that uniquely enhances engine performance by reducing friction and wear. In almost all mechanical equipment, the benefits include improved operational and energy efficiency, longer component lifetimes, and reduced harmful emissions.

PreclinApps Oy is a medical technology company focused on developing and commercializing products for the preclinical drug development market.
The company’s core products are polymer-based, long-term drug delivery systems designed for preclinical animal research and veterinary use. The polymer technology enables controlled, sustained release of active pharmaceutical ingredients over periods of several weeks or even months, while also supporting improved implementation of ethical 3R principles in animal research. PreclinApps’ extensive expertise in drug development, preclinical research, and medical technology helps other companies develop clinically predictive, high-quality study models at lower cost.

Rebio Technologies is a drug development company aiming to create new and optimal solutions for long‑term drug delivery in high‑value products where the most effective delivery methods have not yet been established.
Our polymer formulation team consists of highly experienced professionals with decades of expertise in the research, development, and manufacturing of long‑acting drug delivery technologies and products. Our R&D units operate in both the United Kingdom and Finland.
We have developed an injectable drug delivery technology (SISU™) that enables sustained delivery from weeks to months for both small molecules and biological peptide and protein molecules. SISU™ technology is based on a combination of two excipients (a polymer and a biocompatible solvent) together with the active ingredient, making it easy to commercialize. The technology does not rely on prodrug approaches.
