1. Already founded a business?
We’re happy to hear that you’ve decided to become an entrepreneur! Companies operating in the Turku region can benefit extensively from the free services offered by Business Turku.
We accompany you as you seek momentum for the early stages of your business, aim for growth domestically, and plan to expand internationally.
2. Haven’t founded a business yet?
Already got a viable idea? To establish a company, you need a business ID (Y-tunnus). Submit your registration notice via the Business Information System (YTJ) website.
You will receive your business ID after signing the notice, paying the Trade Register processing fee, and submitting the notice online.
Once you have the business ID, you can benefit from Business Turku’s free advisory services and support.
3. New entrepreneur? Follow these steps:
The Guide to Entrepreneurship is an informative booklet that contains all the essential information an entrepreneur needs to know.
The guide is created in collaboration with the network of the Enterprise Agencies and its member companies and organizations.
The Start Info (in Finnish) is a comprehensive information session of about an hour designed for those considering starting their own business.
After this session you will have a solid foundation to move on to the next step, the Start Workshop.

In the Start Workshop, you will delve deeper into the topics covered in the Start Info session. This two-part workshop supports the further development of your idea and allows you to meet others who are planning to start a business.
After completing the Start Workshop, you will have the tools and knowledge to create a business plan and financial projections. You will also gain new contacts and information on networks to build a solid foundation.

A business plan is a concrete description of the key aspects of your business operations. It evolves with the environment and markets, helping to develop the business.
First, read the instructions for creating a business plan, and then start crafting your plan. Save the template to your computer so you can fill it out at your own pace.
