Summary
Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in different stages of internationalisation, access to the EU Single Market, and technology transfer. The network provides companies with advice on EU-related matters and services for finding international cooperation partners.
Co-funded by the European Commission, the network operates in more than 50 countries and brings together around 400 organisations and over 3,000 experts across Europe and beyond. In Finland, the network is coordinated by Business Finland.
Responsibilities of Business Turku
Business Turku has been a partner organization in the Enterprise Europe Network since 2008. The EEN team provides internationalisation advisory services for SMEs, for example by helping companies find market information, identify international business partners, and explore suitable funding opportunities.
A key tool of the network is the Partner Opportunities Database, where business, technology and project cooperation partner search profiles across the network are published. Business Turku also organises business matchmaking events, seminars and webinars together with other network partners to support companies’ international growth.
