Lounaistieto’s Data Club is back! Are you already familiar with open data resources such as OpenStreetMap or the Finnish Service Information API (Palvelutietovaranto) – or are they completely new to you? Join us to learn about location-based service data and how it can be utilized.
This event is aimed at companies, public sector representatives, and anyone interested in making use of data.
In the October Data Club, we will explore the Improving the Quality of Service Data project and its results. In addition, we will present Lounaistieto’s service point dataset and take a closer look at the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Service Map.
Preliminary webinar program:
- Introduction to Lounaistieto’s data products (Natalia Räikkönen, Lounaistieto)
- Utilizing service data in municipalities’ data-driven management (Maiju Rekola, Gispo Oy)
- Helsinki Metropolitan Area Service Map (Kati Seppälä and Henna Niemi, City of Helsinki)
The event is organized by Lounaistieto, which coordinates the Open Data Network of Southwest Finland. The network aims to exchange knowledge about new developments in open data, inspire new ideas, and foster peer learning among organizations. Lounaistieto’s Data Club events are low-threshold meetups and webinars open to everyone interested in data utilization.
